Car with driver by the hour — when it pays off
We bill trips either as a single point-to-point transfer or as a car with driver on standby, billed hourly. Below we explain which option works out better in which situation and how to prepare for booking.
When a single transfer is enough
If your trip is one journey with no stops — home to the airport, station to the hotel, a one-way drive to a wedding — it's simplest to book it as a transfer. The price depends on distance, and you know the cost before you set off.
When a car on standby is the better option
- A day with several meetings across different parts of the city
- Celebrations: trips between the ceremony, the photo location and the venue
- Sightseeing with stops and waiting time for the driver
- Delegations with guests arriving and departing the same day
- Situations where timings might shift
How we calculate hours
Time is counted from the agreed pickup time until service ends, including stops and waiting time. The hourly rate is quoted net, and for longer bookings and multi-day trips we prepare an individual quote — in those cases we also factor in the driver's accommodation and meals.
Current rates are listed on our price list. We confirm the final price once the route, number of passengers and hours are set.
What to prepare for a quote
- The start date and time, and the expected finish time
- The pickup point and the main stops on the itinerary
- The number of passengers and amount of luggage
- Whether trips outside the region or abroad are needed
