Mercedes V-Class — how many people and how much luggage it holds

Before booking, the most common question is whether everyone will fit along with the luggage. Below are the real capacities based on our own trips — no theoretical maximums from a brochure.

Passengers

The car carries up to 6 passengers in a comfortable layout, with air conditioning in the second and third rows and headrests in every row. Power-operated sliding side and rear doors, plus a tall cabin, make it easier for older passengers, children and a bride in a long dress to get in.

Luggage in practice

  • 6 passengers with carry-on bags and medium suitcases — comfortably
  • 4–5 people with full holiday luggage — no restrictions
  • Ski and snowboard equipment — after letting us know when booking
  • A pushchair, instruments, camera equipment — usually no problem

When it's worth confirming details in advance

With 6 people travelling together with large checked suitcases, we plan the luggage layout in advance — sometimes a different rear-row configuration is enough, sometimes a second vehicle is the better solution. That's why we ask about the amount and type of luggage when booking.

Useful features on the road

  • Tinted windows and air conditioning in the second and third rows
  • A sliding table between the second and third rows
  • 4x4 drive and an automatic gearbox
  • Chilled mineral water included

In short

  • Up to 6 passengers in one vehicle, no splitting the group
  • At full capacity, it's worth mentioning the type of luggage
  • Ski equipment and pushchairs after prior arrangement
  • Power doors and a tall cabin make getting in easier
